Add New Instrument

Navigation: Instruments → Add New Instrument

1. Enter Instrument Name.
2. Enter identifiers:
   • Model Number (optional)
   • Serial Number
3. Select or add:
   • Manufacturer (add new if missing)
   • Device Type (add new if missing; e.g., analyzer, centrifuge, freezer)
4. Select the department the instrument belongs to.
5. Enter In-Use Date (date instrument was placed in service)- optional
6. Add Notes/Comments (optional).
7. Upload Instrument Image (optional but recommended).
8. Select Create Instrument.

Expected Outcome: Instrument is available for log association and filtering.
