Dashboard Oversight

The Dashboard serves as a real-time command center for monitoring daily operations and compliance status across the lab. It provides immediate visibility into task completion, upcoming deadlines, and overdue activities, allowing users to proactively manage workload and address compliance risks before they escalate.

Dashboard Features

At the top of the dashboard displays key operational metrics and task/QC statuses, including:

  • Today’s Tasks
    View all tasks scheduled to be completed today.
  • Overdue Tasks
    Quickly identify tasks that have missed their due date/time and require immediate attention.
  • QC Alerts

Provides a quick summary of QC issues requiring attention today. It displays any failed or overdue tasks associated with logs classified as QC Logs, allowing users to identify and address QC issues promptly.

  • Upcoming Tasks (Next 7 Days)
    Plan ahead by reviewing tasks scheduled for the upcoming week.

Work Queue

The Work Queue displays logs with tasks that need to be completed.

  • Due Today: Shows all logs containing tasks due today. The number displayed beside each log indicates how many tasks are due. Select a log to open it and complete the required tasks.
  • Overdue: Shows logs containing tasks that were not completed by their due date. The number displayed beside each log indicates how many tasks are overdue. Select a log to view and complete the outstanding tasks.
  • QC Issues: The QC Issues section identifies problems associated with logs classified as QC Logs. It displays QC logs containing failed or overdue tasks so users can quickly identify items that require attention.

QC Status

The QC Status section displays the current status of logs classified as QC Logs. It allows users to monitor QC activities with statuses such as Pending, Failed, or Overdue and quickly open the applicable log for further action.

Role-Based & Filtered Views

Users can customize the Dashboard to match their operational responsibilities by applying filters such as:

  • Department
  • Shift
  • Site / Location

Frequently used filter combinations can be saved as custom dashboard views for quick access.

Logs Overview (Filtered Logs)

Below the dashboard metrics and visual indicators, the Logs Overview section displays a detailed list of all logs that match the selected dashboard filters.

This section:

  • Reflects all active filters (department, shift, site, log type, date range)
  • Provides direct access to individual logs for completing the tasks
